This special day is all about honoring the beauty and importance of trees while celebrating the incredible people who’ve made McMinnville a greener, more vibrant place.

What’s Happening?

  • Discover the rich history and significance of Arbor Day.
  • Dive into fun, tree education walks.
  • Celebrate McMinnville’s 28th consecutive year as a proud Tree City USA.
  • Honor the inspiring legacy of Rob Stephenson, who’s helped shape our city’s green spaces for nearly three decades!

A Special Tribute to Rob Stephenson. This year, we’re shining a spotlight on the exceptional Rob Stephenson. For 27 years, Rob has been a true champion of our community's landscapes as a founding member of the Landscape Review Committee. With his thoughtful dedication, he helped establish Arbor Day in McMinnville, and played a key role in earning our Tree City USA designation. His work is a powerful reminder of how one person can create a lasting impact!

Why Arbor Day Matters. Trees aren’t just beautiful—they’re vital to our city’s health and happiness. They clean the air, provide wildlife habitats, increase property values, and make McMinnville a place we’re proud to call home.

Save the Date! Join us for this fun and meaningful celebration on April 25th, 2025, as we honor Arbor Day, appreciate nature, and celebrate Rob Stephenson’s incredible contributions to our community.

We can’t wait to see you there!
