Airport
The airport is situated on a 650-acre site, three miles east of McMinnville. The airport has two paved runways. The primary is a lighted 5,420 x 100 foot runway with an Instrument Landing System (ILS) approach. The secondary is an unlighted 4,340 x 70 foot runway.
The airport has a 1,000-foot paved stopway on the departure end of runway 22 (primary), providing an extra level of safety for larger corporate jet aircraft.
The City has an Airport Administrator that is responsible for airport oversight, establishing all necessary rules and regulations for the conduct, management, and operation of the airport; charges, fees, and tolls for the use of the Airport; leasing and/or entering into contracts for the Airport; and the annual budget. A contracted Airport Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the airport, publishing Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), and short term rental agreements. The City has an Airport Commission whose members are appointed by the Mayor. The Airport Commission is an advisory board to the City Council providing recommendations to aid the Airport Administrator in their duties.
Aircraft rentals, flight instruction, aircraft maintenance, are available at several locations at the airport. Aviation fuels (100LL and Jet A) are available.
