Special Operations Division

The Special Operations Division is comprised of the person/property crimes investigations section, the School Resource Officer Program, the Professional Standards, Accreditation, and training function, Evidence/Property and Parking Enforcement.

The primary missions of this division is 1) to investigate more serious or serial criminal cases to protect/prevent further harm to victims, to bring offenders to justice, and to assist victims in personal and financial recovery; 2) to provide a police presence in the schools that improves school safety, builds rapport with the youth of the community, and provide a liaison with school officials.
