Rotary Nature Preserve at Tice Woods
This natural area boasts two ponds, a wetland, an upland forest, views of Baker Creek which flows through the park, and a mile of soft-surface trails and boardwalks ( a .2 mile accessible paved pathway leads from the parking area to the wetland boardwalk.) Great park for bird watching throughout the seasons. Full restroom facilities are available at trailhead. Dogs, skateboards, bicycles and smoking are all prohibited within this sensitive park environment. The Tice Woods property was acquired by the City from George Tice in 1979; the Nature Preserve was developed and constructed by McMinnville Rotary Club and opened in 2005.
