Upper City Park Dragon Play Structure

Adjacent to McMinnville’s Historic Downtown, City Park (McMinnville’s first park, constructed in 1906) features a 10,000  sq. ft. wooden play structure (for children ages 2-12) with many nooks and crannies for youngsters to explore. McMinnville’s Aquatic Center, Public Library and the iconic Soper Fountain are also located within City Park. Cozine Creek meanders through the lower park where  picnic  areas, playground equipment (for ages 6-12) and pickleball courts/tennis courts are available.  Historic  placards in the park  describe the grist mills that once stood on the park property and the history of McMinnville’s founding. Paved walkways (.75 mile) and soft surface trails (.30 mile) are provided. There’s much to enjoy during a visit to this great public asset. Full restroom facilities are available. Smoking restricted to parking lot areas only. Dogs/pets are both prohibited in all “upper park” areas including entry and plaza areas at fountain and Library; Leashed dogs allowed in lower park only (off-leash activity prohibited.)
