The purpose of this program is to allow business owners or managers to report cold shoplift/theft/criminal mischief incidents and submit their report, along with any evidence, to the police department for follow up.

The Special Operations Division is comprised of the person/property crimes investigations section, the School Resource Officer Program, the Professional Standards, Accreditation, and training function, Evidence/Property and Parking Enforcement.
No. Due to the potential for damage to vehicles, the police department does not open locked vehicles. However, if a child or animal is endangered inside the vehicle, the police and/or fire department will respond to remove the child or animal from the vehicle.
