Reserve Police Officers are trained volunteers that are sworn in and given law enforcement authority. Some are seeking knowledge and experience to prepare them to achieve a full-time paid position. Others volunteer to show a personal commitment to the community.

The McMinnville Police Department’s Honor Guard was established in 2008. The six members of the Honor Guard detail wear specially designed, formal uniforms that pay tribute to the national and state flags they bear.
