COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR MARCH 25, 2025

The McMinnville City Council met on March 25, 2025 and took the following actions:

Approved Resolutions:

2025-08: A Resolution of the Common Council of the City of McMinnville amending the allocation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds.  (Point of Contact: Katie Henry, Finance Director)

Approved Ordinances:

5158: An Ordinance Authorizing Amendment Of 1978 Lease With The United Methodist Church Of McMinnville, Allowing For Its Termination Upon 60 Days’ Notice And Waiving The City’s Right Of First Refusal To Purchase The Property.  (Point of Contact: David Ligtenberg, City Attorney)

In other business: 

Heard a presentation from Geoff Hunsaker, Public Works Director regarding Recycling Modernization Act (RMA) Funding Authorization.

Heard a presentation from Heather Richards, Community Development Director regarding Housing Production Strategy (HPS) Action Plan.

Approved OLCC Application request from The Bitter Monk for change of ownership. 

Approved the Draft Minutes of the February 25, 2025, City Council Work Session Meeting & City Council Regular Meeting.

  • Digital comments (email) may be submitted to  the City Recorder Team any time up to 12 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting to CityRecorderTeam@mcminnvilleoregon.gov;
  • Individuals may participate online through the Zoom videoconferencing platform; please sign up prior to the meeting by emailing the City Recorder at CityRecorderTeam@mcminnvilleoregon.gov at 503-435-5702, as the chat function is not available when calling in Zoom; once your turn is up, we will announce your name and unmute your mic.  You will need to provide your First and Last name, Address, and contact information (email or phone) to the City Recorder to fill out a comment sheet on your behalf. You do not need to state your address for the record when called to speak. 
  • Attend in person and fill out a public comment card
