COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR JUNE 28, 2022

The McMinnville City Council met on June 28, 2022 and took the following actions:

Public Hearings:
Held Public Hearing for Ordinance No. 5115: Extending the duration of the Downtown Economic Improvement Assessment District. 

Held Public Hearing on the Approved FY 2022-2023 Budget with changes greater than 10% in the TLT fund and Wastewater Capital Fund. 

Approved Resolutions:

2022-42: Awarding contract for Street Sweeping. (Point of Contact: David Renshaw, Operations Supervisor)

2022-43: Extending contract with Garten Services for Janitorial Services. (Point of Contact: Jeff Gooden, Project Manager)

2022-44: Approving 2nd amendment to contract with Erskine Law for City Prosecutorial Services. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director)

2022-45: Setting public hearing to vacate an Alley Way (RV 1-22). (Point of Contact: Jeff Gooden, Project Manager)

2022-46: Extending workers' compensation coverage for volunteers. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director)

2022-47: Certifying provision of municipal services by the City of McMinnville as required by ORS 22.760. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director)

2022-48: Declaring the City's election to receive certain state shared revenues. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director)

2022-49: Adopting budget for FY beginning July 1, 2022, making appropriations; imposing property taxes; and categorizing property taxes. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director)

2022-50: Authorizing extension contract for landscaping at Water Reclamation Facility.  (Point of Contact: Dale Marshall, Street Maintenance Supervisor)

2022-51: Removing $1.8 million in ARPA revenue for general operating purposes in the general fund. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director)

2022-52: Adopting supplemental budget for FY 2021-2022 and making supplemental appropriations and contingency transfers. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director)

In other business:

Council President Garvin administered the Oath of Office for newly appointed Jessica Payne filling Ward 3 Council vacancy. 

Heard a presentation from Gary Eastlund from Hagan Hamilton on Stewardship Report on City insurance coverage.  

Approved OLCC Liquor License for MOD Super Fast Pizza, LLC dba: Mod Pizza for limited on-premises.

Approved Ordinaces:

Ordinance 5115: Extending the duration of the McMinnville Downtown Economic Improvement Assessment District.

Ordinance 5116: Approving Zone Change from R-1 to R-3 Planned development overlay and 19-lot subdivision known as the elysian subdivision.
