Yamhill Soil & Water Conservation Book & Film Club

The District is starting a new book & film club with McMinnville Public Library!

This book club will run from November through March.

Our first meeting will be November 19th at 6 pm. Our first book will be Beyond the War on Invasive Species:
A Permaculture Approach to Ecosystem Restoration by Willamette Valley author Tao Orion.

The library system has a couple of copies of the book available for checkout. It is also available from the publisher,
Chelsea Green Publishing, or from retailers like Third Street Books, Thriftbooks, AbeBooks, and Powell Books.
Always look around and see where you can find the best deals, and support your local bookstores!

If you don’t have time to read an entire book, but would still like to attend, please do! There’s a short article here on a similar topic that can also serve as a conversation starter.

Future books and documentaries will be decided by the group, so come with options for what you’d like to discuss next!
