Oregon Library Passport Program
OREGON LIBRARY PASSPORT PROGRAM
The Oregon Library Passport Program will allow card-holders from participating libraries to register and use other participating libraries across the state. The McMinnville Public Library participates in the Oregon Library Passport Program, available for all McMinnville patrons with a “resident”, “full service fee”, or “taxpayer” card.
If you live in McMinnville
In order for a person from McMinnville to participate in the program they must first get an Oregon Library Passport sticker available at the circulation desk. Only McMinnville patrons with a “resident”, “full service fee” or “taxpayer” card can get a sticker to participate in the program.
Basic cardholders cannot participate, due to the discrepancy in the taxes that they pay to the library. This was a decision made by library directors of CCRLS.
If you live somewhere else in Oregon outside of Polk, Marion and Yamhill Counties:
If a person from a city other than McMinnville inquires about the Oregon Library Passport Program they can inquire at the circulation desk about a CCRLS Passport card. They must be a card holder of a participating library in order to get a CCRLS Passport card. All materials checked out at a CCRLS location MUST be returned to a CCRLS location.
