Lending Periods

  • NEW DVDs: 1 week
  • All other items: 3 weeks

Renewal Limits

  • All items may be renewed up to 3 times except in these cases:
    • The item is a new book
    • The item has been requested by someone else, and there are less than two copies available for checkout

Total Item Limits Per Card

  • Resident cards: 50 items
  • Taxpayer cards: 50 items
  • Fee cards: 50 items
  • CARE cards: 25 items
  • Basic cards: 10 items

Checkout Limits by Item Type

  • Books: 50 maximum
  • DVDs: 10 maximum
  • Magazines: 10 maximum
  • CDs: 10 maximum
  • Audiobooks on CD: 10 maximum
  • Board games and puzzles: 3 maximum
  • Children’s Books: 50 maximum
  • Children’s DVDs: 10 maximum
  • Children’s Audiobooks on CD: 10 maximum
  • Children’s Totes: 1 maximum

Hold Limits

  • Full-service cards: 25 holds
  • Basic cards: 10 holds

 

Items may be returned to any CCRLS library.
