COME GET CREATIVE!

Mac Makerspace is a collaborative project with the McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department and the McMinnville Public Library and is located at the McMinnville Community Center.  

Makerspace is open for reservations! Individuals or small groups can reserve a time to make, create, and get crafty with materials included all for FREE! Call (503) 434-7310 or email parksusr@mcminnvilleoregon.gov to reserve your time today!

People 16+ can make reservations. Children, ages 15 and under, can utilize the Makerspace with a responsible caregiver. 

Makerspace Features/Amenities

• Arts & Crafts (Paints, fabrics, felt, glassware, origami, craft kits, etc)
• 3-D Building Supplies (Legos, K’Nex, Marble Run, etc)
• Art & Craft How To Books.

Guidelines

• Makerspace users will follow the City of McMinnville Code of Conduct as well as Makerspace guidelines.
• Respect the space. Be kind to all people and be gentle with the equipment, supplies, and space.
• Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Use the materials that you need. Reduce waste. Leave usable materials for the next person.
• Clean up. Leave your work area cleaner than you found it; it is everyone’s responsibility to keep the Makerspace clean.
• Maintain the organization. Tools and supplies are organized. Return materials to where you found them.
• Have an accident? Clean it up promptly! Ask a volunteer to help if needed.

Mac Makerspace es un proyecto de colaboración con el Departamento de Parques y Recreación de McMinnville y la Biblioteca Pública de McMinnville y está ubicado en el Centro Comunitario de McMinnville.  

¡Makerspace está abierto para reservaciónes! ¡Individuos o grupos pequeños pueden reservar un tiempo para hacer, crear y ser creativos, materiales incluidos y GRATIS! ¡Llame (503) 434-7310 o envíe un correo electrónico a parksusr@mcminnvilleoregon.gov para reservar su tiempo hoy!

Las personas mayores de 16 años pueden hacer reservaciónes. Los niños menores de 15 años pueden utilizar Makerspace con un cuidador responsable.

Características/servicios de Makerspace

• Artes y manualidades (pinturas, telas, fieltro, cristalería, origami, kits de manualidades, etc.)
• Suministros de construcción 3-D (Legos, K'Nex, Marble Run, etc.)
• Libros prácticos sobre arte y artesanía.

Pautas y Pólizas

• Los usuarios de Makerspace seguirán el Código de conducta de la ciudad de McMinnville, así como las pautas y pólizas de Makerspace.
• Respete el espacio. Sea amable con todas las personas y sea amable con el equipo, los suministros y el espacio.
• Reducir, Reutilizar, Reciclar. Utilize los materiales que necesite. Reducir el desperdicio. Deje materiales utilizables para la siguiente persona.
• Limpiar. Deje su área de trabajo más limpia de lo que la encontró; Es responsabilidad de todos mantener limpio el Makerspace.
• Mantener la organización. Se organizan herramientas y suministros. Devuelva los materiales al lugar donde los encontró.
• ¿Un accidente? ¡Límpialo rápidamente! Pídale ayuda a un voluntario si es necesario.
