Shane McCrae presents his memoir, Pulling the Chariot of the Sun: A Memoir of a Kidnapping. Award-winning poet and Linfield graduate, McCrae’s book tells the story of being kidnapped from his Black father and raised by his white supremacist grandparents.

Unleash your imagination this Spring at a Collage Workshop. Led by local instructor, Marie Buckley, this program allows participants of all skill levels to tap into their creativity, connect with fellow crafters, and explore the art of college-making. At every session, you’ll discover the joy of combining various materials such as paper, magazine clippings, and more from the library archives to create captivating collages.

Supplies will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm.
