NOTICE of City of McMinnville Urban Renewal Agency Budget Committee Meeting
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of McMinnville to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 will be held on May 19, 2021 at 6:00 pm in a remote access meeting due to the public health emergency. The Budget Committee of the City of McMinnville Urban Renewal Agency will also meet May 19, 2021 at 6pm.
The purpose of the meetings is to receive the Budget Message and public comment on the 2021–2022 Proposed Budget for both the City of McMinnville and the City of McMinnville Urban Renewal Agency. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.
A public hearing on the possible uses of state revenue sharing funds will also be held at this time.
If a second meeting is necessary it will be held at 6pm on the 24th day of May 2021.
The public is strongly encouraged to participate remotely but there is limited seating at Civic Hall for those who are not able to participate remotely. However, if you are not feeling well, please stay home and take care of yourself. In accordance with Governor Kate Brown, CDC and OHA guidelines we are limiting the amount of people at Civic Hall. With Oregon Health officials urge to limit the size of indoor gatherings we will be limiting our seating to no more than 10 (including staff already present) and continuing to implement the 6 feet distance guideline, if we meet capacity we may ask you to leave. With new face covering mandate all who wish to attend public meetings must wear a face mask or some kind of face covering.
The public is strongly encouraged to relay concerns and comments to the Council:
- Submitting ahead of the meeting online on the city’s website https://www.mcminnvilleoregon.gov/finance/webform/budget-public-comment. All comments received on or before Monday, May 17, 2021 will be sent to Budget Committee members prior to the public meeting.

Public comment may also be given in real-time by joining the zoom meeting. If appearing via telephone only please sign up prior to the meeting by emailing the City Recorder at Claudia.Cisneros@mcminnvilleoregon.gov as the chat function is not available when calling in. All others may join zoom and send a chat directly to City Recorder, Claudia Cisneros, to request to speak and use the raise hand feature in zoom to request to speak, please be prepared to provide your name, address and a method of contact (this will not be provided to the public but need for our records), once your turn is up we will announce your name and unmute your mic.
